The City hall in The Hague, which was designed by Richard Meier, bears witness to a natural harmony between the exterior and interior. The sculptural geometry of the building with its subtle details appears again in the furniture collection CHTH (City Hall The Hague). The desk is manufactured with enclosed sides that give a feeling of total privacy. The panel and legs are made of steel and cover the mechanism that lifts the table. A manual, mechanical (by crank or gas lift) or electronic height adjustment is optional. The height of the sides can be the same as the height of the filing cabinet, therefore, painting a rigid picture. CHTH is especially suitable for meeting rooms and managers’ offices.
Design: Richard Meier (1995).
