Maarten Van Severen installation by OMA in Milan

Maarten Van Severen installation by OMA in Milan

Lensvelt exhibition at Salone del Mobile Milan with OMA architects in 2014, in district Ventura Lambrate. The exhibition was dedicated to the permanent collection of the Flemish furniture designer Maarten Van Severen. The world renowned designer (deceased in 2005) is recognized as one of the greatest designers of our time. The entire private collection of Maarten Van Severen was presented for the first time during this exposition in Italy. The pieces of the collection were shown in a 3D environment designed by OMA Architects. They created a scene with graphic prints, 3D objects and pictures allowing the visitor to imagine themselves walking through the former studio of Maarten Van Severen. Maarten Van Severen, OMA and Lensvelt have collaborated in the past on various projects such as the Dutch Embassy in Berlin and the Central Library in Seattle. In 2013 Lensvelt took over the rights for the production of the Maarten Van Severen Collection.
