Marijn van der Poll
Marijn van der Poll (Eindhoven, 1973) graduated from the Design Academy of Eindhoven in 2002. Marijn van der Poll makes sleek futuristic design furniture. The designs are functional Dutch Design. Marijn van der Poll opened his own studio in the Temporary Art Centre Eindhoven in January 2004 and worked under the name ‘North’. His designs are exhibited in galleries and museums around the world, includingin the Victoria & Albert Museum, The Rocket Gallery in Tokyo and Louvre in Paris.
In 2006 he designed the Chairman for Lensvelt. Expanding daily life is the starting point for the Chairman. Influential changes in society are often triggered by CEO’s of large companies. Chairman certainly radiates this feeling.
