Employees of NEM Energy moved June 2014 into the brand-new, five-storey headquarters on Business Park A4 at Zoeterwoude. The building has 350 fixed and flexible workplaces. The building has a contemporary decor designed by Graziosi Progetti. The entire building is provided with Wi-Fi. Downstairs in the atrium is an espresso bar and offered a canteen where varied dishes.
The new building is representative of both customers, suppliers, (potential) employees, and perfectly matches the feel NEM wants to achieve. No more small building with separate chambers, but wide open workspaces, where employees from different disciplines (for example purchasing, sales, engineering and R & D) can work together. This collaboration can take place at the offices and on the more informal equipped workstations, such as booths and high tables. Basically every employee has its own fixed workstation in an open work environment. The idea is that colleagues know from each other what they are doing.
NEM, established in 1929, provides tailor-made worldwide Heat Recovery Steam Generators and Industrial and Utility Boilers for power plants and industry. NEM is a leader in the field of engineering of water / steam cycle. The HRSG’s NEM can be found worldwide in hundreds of power plants.
