Ronald Hooft

Ronald Hooft (Amsterdam, 1962) designed together with Herman Prast the chair &P&H#1 for Lensvelt. He is also called the “village architect of Amsterdam” because of his great influence on the interior of Amsterdam’s many restaurants and entertainment venues.

Among others, he designed the interior of the famous restaurant Gustavino at the Amsterdam Zuidas, where the &P&H#1 was first applied. After that, Lensvelt produced the chair in larger numbers and applied the chair also in other interiors.
