Gerard van den Berg Vlag Chair
The multifunctional Vlag Chair (Flag) is associative arise in the image of a waving flag. This movement is still clearly recognizable in the design. The rugged, undulating shape of the seat is supported by tight, narrow legs. Soft upholstery is supported by hard material. A contrast between ‘sit’ and ‘support’ that other furniture creations of Gerard van den Berg features. Flag can be used in any environment, from lounges, conference rooms, reception areas to restaurants, as well as striking an occasional chair in the office or in the interior of a home. The several upholstery fabrics are the starting point for the upholstery of the cockpit. The substance is applied without bonding.
