Urban Industrial is a real estate company with a strong focus on logistics. They moved form the chic Apollolaan in Amsterdam to acquiring their own business property in the bustling east of Amsterdam city. Urban Industrial has asked Heyligers design + projects to design the industrial hall in such a manner that it could be used functionally as an office without loosing the robust character of the inevitable space. A yellow path starts straight from the entrance and runs through the office consecutively into the staircase, it all comes together and ends at the workplace spaces.

The Lensvelt Sit-Stand Duo Office desks are interspersed with the Stealth Cabinets that are also sprayed in the same color yellow, bringing it full circle.
From the work spaces situated on the first floor, there is an impeccable view through a glass wall to the double-height entrance hall, which has been designed as a meeting area.
The AVL Workbenches and the industrial PH1 Chair contribute to the industrial character of the design. The meeting rooms are situated below the first floor and are fitted with custom carpets, with aerial images of the various industrial halls that Urban Industrial owns.
