This 141 Chair
A lightweight, comfortable and stackable chair.
In 2015, the This 141 Chair, the multifunctional chair designed by Richard Hutten for Lensvelt in 2005, experienced a true renaissance in Milan. The chair is back, but this time with a felt shell. This oldest textile form in the world has been applied to the This 141 Felt Chair in two shades of grey. Durable and budget-friendly.
This 141 Felt Chair has a seat made of the thinnest possible material and a base of extremely fine chrome threads. The chair is super lightweight due to the minimal use of material.
Together with an ergonomist, Richard Hutten did extensive research into the optimal form of the seat. The model has been tested many times. As a result, it has become a chair on which you can sit comfortably for hours, even though it is not upholstered with a soft fabric. This 041 PP Chair is stackable and a mobile trolley is also optionally available.
Design: Richard Hutten (2015).
