Dirk van Berkel

Dirk van Berkel is an interior architect that specializes in the aesthetics of functional office furniture, where his signature style is conceptually minimal. His body of work includes the design of interiors for projects for the Ministry of General Affairs in the Hague, Univar, Hof van Holland and amongst other custom-made products. He finished off his studies Interior Design at the Royal Academy in The Hague.

Lensvelt and Van Berkel teamed up for the creation of Not A Big Thing, a slick and fussless desk that is made to last.
