Richard Meier

Richard Meier is an American architect who is known for his designs to be simplistically robust, functional with clean lines and classically white. He is also a visual artist, sculptor and interior designer. In the Netherlands, Meier is well known for his design of the city hall in The Hague called “het IJspaleis”– The Ice Palace, 1995. At age 49 in 1984 he was the 6^th architect in the world to receive the Pritzker Architecture Prize.

Richard Meier worked together with Lensvelt to design the CHTH Desk Solo and CHTH Desk Duo for the ‘Ice Palace’ located in The Hague.
