As part of the renovation plans for the Limburgs Museum, the interior has been taken into focus. ZOETMULDER is responsible for the new interior and improved accessibility. Among other elements, the foyer, the museum café and the museum shop have been given a new look.

All the new interior elements are designed to blend in with the existing characteristic, robust identity of the building. A distinctive colour and material palette of terracotta red, hot-rolled steel and light blue has been used. Inspiration was drawn from the design of the existing building and several prominent pieces from the museum's collection.

Lensvelt's W.H. Gispen chair 201 and 202 (with and without armrests) are upholstered in matching terracotta red fabric.

This project was designed by Elise Zoetmulder, Özlem Durmaz, Nicole Hartmann of Zoetmulder in collaboration with Jeanne Dekkers Architecture.
