The architects at Beyond Space have redesigned the interior of Elho’s headquarters in Tilburg. A company that loves pots and plants even more than the architects themselves. Besides (of course) lots of plants, they brought light and air into the building, removed many interior walls and created different work environments. Thanks to the use of the Boring Collection, these come about as quiet and more loud areas, but also as places for focused meeting and discussion. The latter are designed at central locations, with lush greenery all around.
Centerpieces of the three-story office include a large lightwell in the center of the building, a slatted ceiling on the ground floor, and a massive desk folded around so many plants that it looks like a miniature jungle.

Beyond Space
The Award winning Boring Collection is a collaboration between Beyond Space and Lensvelt. They won the Milano Design award for best concept in 2016. The collection derived from the dissatisfaction of the modern day look and feel of project furniture. Read the whole story here.
